How long have you been delving into spirituality? You have quite an arrogant and assertive attitude while showing a relatively ‘green’ understanding of how consciousness, awareness, perception, cognition and concepts work together in the Arizona State University Moonlit Madnees shirt Furthermore, I will do this metaphysical context. Metaphysics has no place in this community, it is about meditation in its broader context and I will not allow you to define mine. Firstly, I want to point out your hostility. There is no reason for you to be combative, upset, defensive, dismissive and rude. Relax please because there is a lot for you to take away from this conversation Secondly, I am not lost whatsoever – once again, you are just misunderstanding almost everything I’m saying, not necessarily on purpose but I just don’t think you have enough context to piece it together. I am sorry if it offends you when I say this, but it just is what it is.

Meditation is the reduction of cognitive overlay, the re-framing of conscious perception away from the egoic mind’s thinking and sensory perceptions (what you seem to define consciousness as) and towards what I was hinting at earlier: true present awareness, absent of thought and physical perception.
