From my experience this is based on having kids in school since those hours are a lot closer to school hours. Which to me just makes me think we should change both Yeah it’s sucks they aren’t flexible but at the Arizona Diamondbacks Est 1998 shirt moreover I will buy this same time I thought this post was – it’s not 9-5 anymore, it’s 9-7 or something. I feel this. My boss starts work at 7am, but when I joined the project I told him no meetings before 10am for me. I made up an excuse about kids and school and other early morning things, and he seemed to accept that, which was nice. But honestly I dont have any actual responsibilities like that. I just want time to sleep until 8:30 or so, walk my dog, then brew an espresso and slowly wake up before work.

I did this for a few weeks before he confronted me about it. He said I am supposed to leave at 5pm, to which I said no, I start at 8am. He then said we all do 9 hour days with 1 hour lunch break, so if I come in at 8am then I should be leaving at 5pm. I said my contract with the Arizona Diamondbacks Est 1998 shirt moreover I will buy this business is 38 hours a week, which is 9am-5pm, but I have moved my shift one hour earlier, which means 8am-4pm which he and my supervisor said I could start work at. Then I said if my working hours need to be modified we can negotiate a new contract and a new salary based on the new expectations. He said nothing back, but he did bring it up again 2 more times over the next 3 months but I just kept repeating that last line (About new contract and new salary) and he eventually just stopped asking about it.
