I think people just don’t like the ANTIHERO Marvel Shirt What’s more,I will buy this way the grate is swinging around a bit. It makes the movements look messier than they really are. I do love the way the grate was just…. Tossed down afterwards. I’ve never seen a machine toss something before let alone with such accuracy Yeah, those covers are also heavy as fuck (solid cast iron), so you do now want to lift them out each time by hand, especially if they might be stuck due to dirt/etc. Automation doesn’t directly “take away” jobs, either, as many seem to think. It allows for more work to be done and often makes for a safer work environment overall. I work in the corrugated box industry and automation has really taken over material handling and it’s mostly for ergonomics. We have wonderful operators in their 40s who have been hand-feeding large sheets for 20 years. They can’t do it for another 20 years. In prior eras, aging operators would have been run into the ground or moved to another role (like forklift, which pays less). With automation, we still need them to operate the machinery. They just get to do it with less stress on their bodies while also becoming more productive due to fewer physical constraints. I mean I half agree… But for how easy it is to get trained on forklift….idk man.i ended up being the best over everytime I retook a counterbalance fork test because people just thought they could hop on and be pros instead of treating it like the couple mammoths they are.
ANTIHERO Marvel Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt
That’s bullshit. Amazon has picker bots in their warehouse that do the ANTIHERO Marvel Shirt What’s more,I will buy this job a human used to do. They build new warehouses and hire less people. Instead of 500 they can hire 400. That’s 100 jobs lost, even though there were no layoffs. I think that machine isnt automated, someone is driving it. But you are right they would be able to do a lot more Yeah dude he was pointing out that the previous poster forgot the vacuum part. It’s not enough to just have a crowbar and pressure washer. Yeah, John Henry wins. I don’t remember the whole end part but I assume everyone congratulates him and agrees not to use machines. Yeah and when someone loses a toe or gouges themselves on a crowbar or has a repetitive strain from operating a pressure washer they’ll be calling their boss an asshole for not getting this. I’m sure the guys making stuff in Asia in sandals think the same thing about people in Europe or North America using PPE. If you got lots of drains to clean this is your guy. Yes, I’m sure you could clean however many hundreds of storm drains in half the time that this machine can. Jesus. cleaning 100 drains manually, every day, in wind, rain and cold or burning heat. pulling out equipment from vehicle, packing it back in before moving on. tired arms, back and legs. Seems to me this is precisely engineered when you think of how many storm drains this machine could do in a day..With the recent war between Israel and Hamas, there’s a lot of heated rhetoric from all sides about “WWIII”, escalations, most countries taking a side, Turkey coming out as very anti-Israel, etc, etc? I’ll admit, I’ve been a little freaked out about the state of the world and where we might go from here. Most “rational-sounding” takes I’ve read involve something to the effect of “we’ve seen things like this before, it’s tragic but nothing new for the world”. I’m not that young, but this is my first time really paying attention to something like this and I can’t help but feel like everything is more on edge than it felt in previous middle eastern tensions/conflicts. I guess the root of my question – is what’s going on in the world as unprecedented as it feels; how concerned, as an American citizen, should I be about the state of the world, the near future, etc?I think the main difference between this and previous conflicts is how unhinged the politicians and media figures in the US and UK in particular have become. I don’t think the conflict is anything new, we’ve just lost the ability to have an adult conversation about it. The sabre rattling from various international parties is not new either, sadly. Thanks for your comment, this is helpful. I think a lot of my being concerned about it comes from social media and how insane people act on it. For example any tweet about any update regarding the war has everyone in the replies saying like “this is it, WWIII”, “buckle up for the nukes” and stuff like that. Seeing that shit over and over again has started to freak me out and make me question what I think is rational imo
