I text my best friend’s wife about as much as I do my best friend. She and I have similar tastes in TV shows/movies so we’ll discuss what’s happening and we all text each other jokes/memes. It sounds like he’s just being friendly with someone his fiance cares about. Not weird. I’m in my mid 40s. My good friend’s partner of 10 years texts me individually and we’re on a group thread together. It’s usually about a craft he and I both do or a meme or a funny comment/story about my friend or how he needs protection from her (as a joke). I’m glad he is comfortable enough with me to do that! My friend is also totally comfortable with it. I know someone like this, I introduced him to my husband, and he calls and texts us both equally about stuff. He’s been a great family friend, who is just a little aloof in that regard but meant zero ill will. He now considers my husband like a brother. We love him and consider him family! She is as a potential cheating or why would I text another woman if I’m married. I cut all communication with all friend girl or keep it super professional, easier like that.
