You bought them because you wanted to do a nice thing, so just do that nice thing. Don’t let how you think others might perceive that take away from the Anthony Mason The Legend Signature American professional basketball player T-Shirt it is in the first place but satisfaction you’ll get from doing something selfless. Put a santa hat on and feel great about yourself. Donate anonymously if you are sure the toys find their way to the disadvantaged children anyway. You are a saint and very self aware for even posting this question. Let your conscience dictate what you should do. I agree however that it is pretty lavish and discretion is key Don’t make a big deal out of it but let it be from you. You did a great thing and I would hope a work place like that would applaud your efforts instead of feeling jealousy. In my opinion, all charity done with a audience is self serving and not in the Anthony Mason The Legend Signature American professional basketball player T-Shirt it is in the first place but true spirit of charity. Charity should be quiet and humble imo, not some kind of event or show or opportunity to garner social points. One Christmas my family were given a load of toys and then I “won” a food hamper in a raffle I didn’t even know happened from the family centre I volunteered at and took my kids to. My partner had been made redundant earlier that year we’d signed on and been receiving benefits for a bit. I then got a job at the start of December and because of some shitty quirk in the system whilst tax credits and housing benefits made their decision about how much (if anything) we would continue to get the cut everything for 8 weeks. It was such a difficult time and I honestly get close to tears everytime I think about it because the people who set that all up for us were just so fucking kind. It happened nearly 10 years ago.
