A lot of churches are in debt or underfunded, aside from the Anthony Edwards Vintage American professional basketball player T-Shirt In addition,I will do this Mega churches, which aren’t nearly as populous as the smaller ones. What is the point in going after a church who is already in debt? Because this is still a christian nation rooted to the core in in its societal values as a christian nation with a very christian history and back story to its creation and no matter how much so many of us want it to be otherwise, we are stuck with the fact that 3 centuries ago a bunch of religious extremists were persecuted for not being the right kind of christian and decided to make their own christian nation over here… Not to mention the other chriistians who found their way up from the south of North America to make sure their flavor of christian had a foothold in this land. …The shift will come soon. More and more people are leaving behind this barbary every generation, but we’re still stuck with it. We probably will be for the rest of our lives. May our children continue the trend of moving farther and farther away from this utter horse shit so we can begin to focus on real problems as a society and not have to cater to Hell-lustful psychos

They can make general statements, if anti abortion legislation is up for a vote they can say “the church opposes abortion in all forms” without referencing the bill. Likewise individuals paid by the church are taxed on their income (in the extreme, Joel Osteen or Kenneth Copeland) and as private individuals can make donations or make outright political statements.
