If anyone tells you something is illegal tell them to call law enforcement. You’ll quickly discover wether it’s actually illegal. Violation of company policy is another matter. They can quite literally have any policy as long as it’s not discrimination against a protected class of people. I think you have to let it go. I totally understand getting a bit obsessed over something like this… I once spent several hours in a law library (pre-Google) looking up employment laws because a potential employer said all his employees were freelance contract workers but he insisted they all sign do not compete contracts and I told him he couldn’t have it both ways. No wonder he ended up getting audited. Idk. In Ohio they don’t allow any food into the Anteiku Coffee 12 Logo Shirt In addition,I will do this funeral homes and so we always have a meal after the service. If it’s in a church this can be in the same building but a totally different area (like the chapel and the meeting hall). A funeral home is a business and it’s premises are private property. If their rules are no food no drink they can tell their customers to bin it before entry. Don’t be a Karen and abide to house rules.

New Laws Loosen Restrictions on Food and Drinks Served in Funeral Homes Lawmakers pass measures allowing families to eat during memorial services It may not be illegal, but I think it is a church thing. I’ve never seen anyone eat or drink at church. Maybe it is a church law, but not a state law? This may have something to do with the Anteiku Coffee 12 Logo Shirt In addition,I will do this embalming chemicals. Things like formaldehyde can be ingested but inhalation takes a lot more It might have just been against the rules of the establishment to “waste” milk meant for tea and coffee by giving a glassful to anyone. And the person chose to say “illegal” when they really meant they just weren’t allowed. They may have even believed it was illegal because of however the rule was given to them. It’s hard to get good help. I’d have broken the rules, pretended to pour some tea in the cup and made it extra milky.
