Honestly if you’re good looking enough to be hired for a job you have 0 experience for AND they didn’t even interview you, there are probably things you can do to make way more money than an in-store technician. With that said though, yeah pretty privilege exists and you’re probably going to be “lucky” enough to experience that through much of your life. Honestly I’m not sure what you can do to give back to us average folks, but there’s no need to punish yourself by quitting and giving someone else a chance. Just don’t be a dick about being good looking and be a good person and I don’t think anyone will fault you for being blessed The job I’m at loves guys that look like they workout, I’ve wondered if they’d have hired me if I was skinnier. Yeah unfortunately bias towards attractive people is very much a thing. It’s been on my mind lately – I’m a 33/m and my hairline is starting to recede. Of course I’m worried about it effecting my dating life which is understandable, but I’m also worried about it effecting my business career prospects which is totally unfair. It’s just an unfortunate bit of human nature that most of us are guilty of to some degree – people generally want to associate with attractive folks and want to avoid unattractive ones. IMO it’s like some kind of subconscious defense of our standing within the Angels don’t always have wings sometimes they have paws shirt it is in the first place but social hierarchy.

They’re trying to attract people to their business to make a profit. You’re attractive, no? You attract people right? It’s an easy business leverage and you gotta be grateful for having that natural ability. Thank God/ancestors/ yourself for your god given gifts. Feel good about it, be thankful for it, don’t feel bad about it because society tries to teach us we should feel ashamed for experiencing the Angels don’t always have wings sometimes they have paws shirt it is in the first place but goodness life has to offer us. I feel your outcome will be better if you’re in a state of gratitude other than being in a sour disposition over it, ya know? Be grateful and give gratefulness.
