In my country our future queen speaks 4 languages (spanish, french, English, and dutch). And at one point of my life i was expected to ‘speak’/learn 6 languages (English, Dutch, German, French, old greek & latin.) So it’s more common in other countries to speak more languages. But because English is a national language, i guess it’s not a requirement. Welcome to the reality of 2023… it’s absurd that every single thing attached to western civilization is now branded with the tags… “racist, oppressive, and unjust.” English is the most difficult language to learn, so why the hate towards a language that’s the most difficult to learn. Why does a U.S. president “HAVE” to learn another language when he is fluent in the most difficult language…. Just my 2 cents…
