Because then it’s either them resending and I don’t look like a fool, or they have to admit they never sent it in the An American Legend Toby Keith 1961 2024 Thank You For The Memories Signature Shirt Also,I will get this first place (or I wasn’t on it) and they look like a fool. Yeah I like to word it as, “Unfortunately, I cannot find a record in my email. Would you please kindly help and resend it? Many thanks.” Gotta lay on thick the politeness. Also, if I get an email like this, I immediately think of it as a system error and not a user error on either parts. I had a situation with a manager at my work recently. He literally could have just sent something like that and I would have said sure, let me get that sent back out to you. But he had to be snarky and write an email like I didn’t send it, and of course he has to CC my boss when he does it instead of just asking. So I added his boss and a director and sent him a screenshot of the email I had sent in the morning. Mind you he wants me to email him info that he has the same access to and could just look it up but he’s too dumb to pull up the powerBI report and the excel sheet its on. And the powerBI report isn’t even hard to read its a very straight forward graphic with a number that is highlighted in green, yellow, or red. And its always in the green because I know how to do my fucking job lmao

A good corporate tactic. Don’t assign blame, request help in a way that either gets what you need or makes them admit fault. Be polite to people. People make mistakes and unless it was mission critical it should be fine. And really, nothing should be mission critical that is only just 1 email that could be missed (no follow up or confirmation) Sometimes they did send it, but you didn’t receive it because your email server or email spam rules caught it before it even got to you, and then you still look stupid, even though you didn’t actually have the An American Legend Toby Keith 1961 2024 Thank You For The Memories Signature Shirt Also,I will get this email. Why didn’t I figure this out? I received an email recently about a virtual class i need to do saying they sent an email out last week to get it done that I swear never received the week before.
