i already cut off my head/cover my face because of creeps. if they know people who post nsfw comments come here, it might attract undesirables unfortunately. i think this is a good example of certain people ruining it for everyone. i dont doubt some folks come here with nsfw profiles but want to participate in good faith, but way too many nsfw profiles post in these groups as poorly veiled advertisements, a certain contingent of posters start flocking to the American-Ivorian professional basketball player mo bamba hyper T-Shirt it is in the first place but sub sexualizing and fetishizing EVERYTHING, and it quickly starts to overwhelm any groups that dont shut it down pretty harshly. As someone with a regular account and a NSFW account, I say keep the rule. This sub isn’t meant for the kind of content that will inevitably bleed into here without the rule in place. Even if I were to post a perfectly SFW outfit from that account, people that follow me will see it and comment which could lead to them commenting on other’s posts who didn’t want exposure to those types of individuals. Even if I’m only commenting (like now), I will switch accounts first to keep my activity in certain subs separate from my “hobbies.” This is a safe space and should stay as such. I am in favor of the ban standing. If it’s that important to post in this particular sub, make a separate profile for it

Please let it stand. I don’t post photos as I am not quite comfortable enough to do so but this would make me 1000% not do it. There’s enough subs on Reddit to cater to this need. It’s not difficult at ALL, it takes like 5 seconds, to create a secondary, SFW account. And being a good advocate for SW means understanding WHY it’s necessary to separate the work from “safe space” environments. Everytime I have posted on my alt account, I get 15 private messages asking to chat or for nudes. If banning NSFW profiles will weed out those pricks, that’s would be fucking awesome. I just want to post something cute and get an idea of how to dress my plus size body, I don’t need creeps harassing me. What is considered a NSFW sub? Mine us marked NSFW because I post in various mental health subs, would auto mods immediately ban me when posting ? No. Your profile would be fine. What we are trying to avoid is accounts with an abundance of pornographic material. Posts that really couldn’t be seen by everyone or easily filtered out. Also those accounts which try to toe the line and attempt to post thirst or provocative photos. Just the pornographic, lewd, fetish stuff. Some people ask medical questions and post with blood which they tag NSFW depending on severity as a warning to others. We wouldn’t ban someone for things like that. It’s a little bit of case by case with those.
