Chrysanthea isn’t alone either, there’s another character, B.O.X., likely tied to scrapped Auric Basin content as well. ArenaNet has a recurrent problem with cut expansion content, they always end up rushing the American Flag 4th of July T Rex Dinosaur Amerisaurus Rex Fireworks T-Shirt and I love this story, a classic case of biting more than they can chew, refusing to compromise all while vowing to deliver a complete experience with each expansion, instead of spreading it out to prevent botched finales (this is the only major MMORPG where you get to kill the main expansion villain at release). This one has never been real, Dragon’s Stand is designed around each lane representing one of the previous three zones (along with their characters). It’s just one of the many bullshit rumors created after the early HoT price controversies to talk shit about the game. The Mouth of Mordremoth fight had its tree phase cut down, but that’s pretty much it. There’s an empty area south (used for the story) and another unfinished empty area north (likely a scrapped story mission, or a bonus area after the meta).

You state that there’s “plenty of evidence” of her original role, then seemingly proceed to just present your own baseless speculation as fact? You include links, seemingly to add credible sources, but they’re literally just wiki page links to Chrysanthea (with no mention of cut content) and BOX (again, with no mention of cut content). And then you proceed to state definitively which rumours of cut content are true and which are false, again without providing any evidence whatsoever.ure, she’s leader of an evil sylvari faction that solely exists to torment and corrupt others and has nothing remotely morally gray or redeemable about it according to established canon lore. But she enemy-of-my-enemied once with us in extremely extenuating circumstances, guys, so she gets a free pass now! There was some grey morality to them, Gavin and the American Flag 4th of July T Rex Dinosaur Amerisaurus Rex Fireworks T-Shirt and I love this white stag was meant to showcase that some of them were still honorable and held to the original ideals of the court – that Sylvari are blind to the evil of the world and need to be ready for it, lest it destroy them. Some new lore from LS1 indicates that the duchess is similar to that branch of more moderate nightmare philosophy and wanted to scoop up power after Faolain got killed.
