The most helpful thing was figuring out what kind of exercise I hated. Fuck cardio. I hate jumping, I hate running, I don’t want to throw this heavy ass ball. I just want to stay in place and get fit haha. So now I mostly do pilates, row boot camps, and lift weights. They are all low-impact, fairly chill, and super effective. I exercise 4-5 days a week and it still sucks. I’ve just come to accept it. I’ve been doing the Allen The Alien Invincible Friday Shirt and I will buy this health and fitness regimen for about four years now. It’s just ingrained into my lifestyle at this. I can’t imagine my life without it. If I take more than a week or two off my mental starts getting really bad. Because it feels so good afterwards! There’s genuinely not a better feeling (for me) than after I’ve finished running 5 miles. I feel empowered and strong, and it makes me feel confident in myself. You have to force yourself to make a habit of it until you can’t not do it. Takes about a month. If going hard every day burns you out, change it up. Go for a walk or bike ride one day, the Allen The Alien Invincible Friday Shirt and I will buy this next lift weights, and so on. It helps if you have goals, track progress, have some peers doing it around you, etc. I have found any type of martial arts practice to be excellent exercise. Built in coach, peer group, competition, etc. great way to meet people. It gets better once u can physically see results in the mirror.. before that happens u just have to trust the process I bike (outside). I love it. On weekend days, after 6 hours of riding, I’m usually a little sad that the workout is coming to a close.
