But who is the Allen Lazard Football Paper New York Jets Shirt Furthermore, I will do this intended employee that the minimum wage should be given to. In this day and age i think that if you are looking for a minimum wage job and you are over the age of 17. You have more problems than how much you will get paid. You need help with education and job skills. Most adults will never work for minimum as they have life skills that will allow them to get a position that will pay them enough to feed a family and pay the rent or a small mortgage. First, who’s supposed to work at the fast food joint during school hours? How about the grocery store? If that’s only supposed to be for teenagers then who is going to work those jobs while they’re in school? Second, show me where someone can work a minimum wage job to support just themselves, pay for rent, and food, and transportation to and from their job. Let’s not even bring up supporting a family. Show me VALID math that works where someone can live off minimum wage using your own example of what it’s supposed to support… The average European lives in an 800 sq ft apartment. Americans are spoiled to believe they should be a homeowner flipping burgers. Get an education at a state school in a major that actually has well paid jobs. Pretty simple.

We are our brother’s keeper, or obligated to have solidarity with other workers, or simply act in a self-interest that is adversarial to those who dominate the marketplace, if the least of us had a roof over our head and food on their table (the proverbial burger flipper) then everyone else has greater leverage when navigating the economy. While if there’s a large and growing segment that doesn’t have material basics being available to them, everyone above will act out of desperation to avoid such destitution.
