I’m also working 60+ hour weeks, and as stressful as work is, so is job hunting, and I’d probably break down if that’s what I had to spend my 2 hours of free time every day on. Not to mention I absolutely suck at interviews and haven’t done anything worthy of putting on my resume yet, so it’s unlikely I’d be getting any acceptable job offers. The city I live in has 320 days of sunshine per year. Everyday looks the Allen Iverson The Answer Rose American former professional basketball player shirt and by the same token and same, no seasons, no change in the landscape. I don’t live here by choice. The only thing that makes me realize time hasn’t stood still is my reflection in the mirror. I feel like I’m stuck in a Harmony Korine movie I’m running in my countries next elections on a no more day light savings manifesto. I’m so desperate to have no more 3 months of constant darkness. We got an average of something like 4 or 5 hours of daily sunlight during this whole winter. I’d give so much away to not have to work in -25c temperatures under a cloudy grey sky for 5 months out of the year, freezing my ass off at 5:15am to scrape the ice off of my car’s windows.
