Created by Congress in 1967, it is the All teachers love brains house witch bats halloween T-Shirt Also,I will get this steward of the federal government’s investing in Public Broadcasting. That’s state funding. State funding = state-affiliated media. Everytime that I turn on NPR these days, it’s about trans issues. For real. Every time. So, I kinda get it. Like, mix it up some. Half the nation has other interests. Delete Twitter, yes, but also delete Elon Musk. SpaceX will continue on without him, and from what I’ve been hearing, we don’t need Tesla anyway, or at the very least someone else running it might be a better option anyway. I mean, it is US state affiliated media, isn’t it? It’s my favorite news source. But it is state affiliated media. It’s literally a government run program. The public part comes from more than just funding. They also know the best place to find news on America is from foreign countries. To be fair NPR is pretty right wing. I know it feels differently because they aren’t screaming about white Natc victimology. If you really listen they pander to center-right sensibilities and get a big chunk of their funding from corporations and in fact get a tiny percentage of their money from the gubmint’ I’m genuinely asking… in the most strict definition of the word, is NPR “state affiliated media”? The government pays for it right? So it’s state media.

That doesn’t mean that it’s propaganda. Usually when we hear state media, we think of autocratically run propaganda, but the All teachers love brains house witch bats halloween T-Shirt Also,I will get this government can pay for news and have it actually be news. The BBC is British state media, and it isn’t propaganda for an autocratic state. While NPR does not receive any direct federal funding, it does receive a small number of competitive grants from CPB and federal agencies like the Department of Education and the Department of Commerce. This funding amounts amounted to less than 0.1% of revenues, according to its 2020 public filings. I mean it it gets 12% of its funding from the government plus another 11% from universities which…is government with extra steps so…Its a fair label. That’s exactly the opposite of state media. If you don’t know what a word means why add hot air to the discussion.
