Im not suggesting you have thin skin, ill just say having thick skin goes with the All I want for Christmas is Jessica Lange santa hat T-Shirt and I love this territory of regularly posting online. Its weird how all of us could have 200 positive comments, but we will focus on 1 or 2 negative ones. Im majorly guilty of it. There’s a famous quote by Mark Twain that says “Never wrestle with pigs. You both get dirty and the pig likes it.” I think most people who leave rude or mean comments do so to harm, and probably do it to evoke a strong emotional response. I would ignore the rude comments, but if you have to respond do so in a neutral way like thanks for watching or thank you! Not that you appreciate their rudeness just a way to keep from giving them what they want which is to most likely get you angry, hurt or upset. Most of the time I think those type of people move on when they see a neutral or non response because they are looking to create drama. Stay encouraged and keep putting out your content. Your community will stand behind you and the troll seeing you not being phased by their rudeness is the best way to encourage them to move along. All the best to you.

I personally would just ignore it. They want a reaction, I used to reply and say thanks for your feedback, but I now just delete and block Like their comment and reply with something benign like a smiley face so that it both boosts your engagement and shows you dgas about what they’ve said. I make gaming shorts and stream and people tell me I suck all the All I want for Christmas is Jessica Lange santa hat T-Shirt and I love this time in my shorts comments lol. Just love the comment and like it and move on (more engagement on post in my mind). There will always be hateful comments. Just accept that there will always be people who don’t like you/something about you. Don’t let it detract your confidence. I take note of these comments but always keep in mind the above-mentioned. In most of the cases it’s the problem of these people, not yours.
