It is supposed to protect people like us. My son (who was too young to be vaxxed) caught COVID and I didn’t. I know it could be just how covid works and I was lucky to not catch it, but it could also have been the Evusheld shots working. I’ve had 2 vaccinations, 3rd dose and booster and I’m also working on getting the Evusheld as well. I appreciate the concern, it’s rough for those out there who are immune compromised. We still matter, thou it feels like world has written us off. We have a baby. I’m both concerned about my baby’s risk of getting COVID (even though I know it’s a minor risk for babies, I’d still like to avoid it). The main reason is if someone in our house gets COVID, we can’t have childcare for a week+ which would make it SUCK to try to work. I will never not wear a mask in an airport from now on. I always wondered why I got sick when I traveled. It’s bc most of y’all are disgusting

Yeah it’s been about 1.5 months since my province lifted mask mandates and suddenly, over half of the people I work with have caught COVID after years of having zero cases in our department. Where I am, the government is just pretending COVID is over because people are like “I’m tired and wanna have fun”, and we’re willfully ignoring the massive uptick in people calling in sick to work. Me too! WTF! Others parade around like it’s nothing and are fine. I go one place one time without a mask and I get COVID. The universe hates me.
