That was about a skin condition on my hands that appeared suddenly and had them cracking and bleeding. I got tiny pieces of glass in my eye at work, had to get my eye flushed out multiple times, went to the workers comp doctor to get a referral to an opthalmologist and was told by him that “you’re not special, people get glass and metal in their eyes all the time, it’s totally normal, no medical intervention is ever necessary. They shouldn’t have flushed your eyes once and certainly not twice, and they shouldn’t have bothered giving you antibiotic eye drops.” Uncle suffered from a similar incident. Went suicidal since he became blind. If the doctor had said that to him I would have lost my freaking mind and went ham. I gotta do yoga if I want to stay calm. It was endocrinologyst, Two weeks later I was prescripted with antidepressants lol

Gastro told me any abdominal pain I was having was likely muscular, as any problems with actual organs don’t cause pain. Both lungs almost completely full of fluid. My mom’s doctor told her she had 9 years left because of her poor health choices and diabetes type 2. 12 years later she’s luckily still kicking almost the same shape as she was 12 years ago. She unfortunately still thinks it hasn’t been 9 years yet Gonna play devils advocate here. Are you and everyone else here sure you guys were speaking to a doctor and not an NP or PA? Nicotine is not addictive. It’s a choice. I am aware that it was my choice to start but if it’s not addictive then why can I not quit when I so badly want to. Why do people get prescription nicotine to wean off if it’s not addictive. This is just the one that came to mind but I have too many stories like this I was admitted to the hospital with fever, rash, etc. The doctors ordered all kind of tests, and still didn’t know what I had. My blood work was wacky, specially my ferritin levels. One of my ankles was swollen. I told someone who looked like an intern but part of the group of docs in my case; and he said: Your sock is too tight. My sock was not too tight. Anyway, I left that place voluntarily. And eventually got diagnosed with Still’s disease.
