I worked at ILA and it was possible to make a similar amount hourly as you did at VUS, but it was extremely rare for someone to get that for every one of their classes and they needed to have been teaching for 4 or 5 years. Experiences like yours are useful for people to know, but it’s worth noting that they are outliers and it takes a good amount of time to get there.

But you weren’t making that much starting off, right?
