Do you have complete trust and faith in your wife and confidence your boss is not going to try and rape her? Are you a single party recording consent state? See if she is ok to take a call but definitely record it. Either you catch him being skeeve, he is crossing some other boundary, or he is genuinely worried about you in some way (which is still crossing a line doing it this way, but I had to include the Aleksej Pokusevski Basketball Poster Thunder T-Shirt But I will love this possibility). Tell his wife. Then go about life normally. If you trust your wife and her you, should be fine. Getting a new job is an option but you could have a good gig going on and don’t want to earn respect all over again. From peers of course, not ur boss. Then tell him if anything, ANYTHING, comes out of it, you will report it as retaliation for him trying to fuck your wife and you confronting him. Do you want to continue to work in this kind of environment in a small family company with him having no accountability?

I would look for a job elsewhere while firmly telling your boss your wife is not interested in having dinner or anything with him I would say bring it up in an “innocent” manner whenever you, him, and his wife are together. “Hey, we got your voicemail that you left to my wife about eating habits. Are you calling me fat? Im just saying that since you asked her not to tell anyone. What was that about? Ha ha ha…” Like others have suggested, wife should go to the Aleksej Pokusevski Basketball Poster Thunder T-Shirt But I will love this lunch and then you show up 15 minutes later and be like “so what’re we talking about ?”. Either that or ignore it.. which is much less fun. Make the lunch appointment. Except just you show up. Now ask him to explain himself. If it’s a terrible excuse, look for a new job and send the voicemail to his wife with an explanation of why you’re leaving the company.
