I was against it in the Alabama in my veins Jesus in my heart shirt and I love this sense of contraception – people having them because they couldn’t bother with condoms, the pill, the bar, the coil and/or the morning after pill. Those family members are pro-rapist, they gave that shitty rapists sperm precedent over his wife a rape victim. These types of pro-lifers are pro-rapists. Classic conservative story. His own toxic views, shared by other conservatives, negatively affected his life. So he cuts out a special status for that one particular issue, and that issue only, and keeps being a massive asshole in every way except that particular issue. They never learn in general that being an anti-humanist piece of shit is bad, only that it’s bad personally affected by one particular issue among the many ways in which they are toxic. Wonder how many of these cases it will take him to change his mind, can only hope he lives long enough to do so They’ve almost got it, ya know, about as much as Hiroshima was a cold day in Japan. It is bonkers to me (vis a vis their crazy shit) the catalyst to basic empathy for bodily autonomy was his wife being raped, not anyone else.
