Anyways, this old hag replies “if the Alabama Crimson Tide Trample LSU Tigers 2023 shirt in contrast I will get this bank won’t do it we do”. Mind you her tone was hostile as fuck. I told her that they do in fact do it and that I’ve done it at other Woolies and Coles. She goes “well then go to Coles because we don’t do that ever”. I told her she was straight up lying and she tells me she didn’t care and “I have customers to look after” and walked off. I called after her and said I’d be reporting it and she calls back “good luck with that”. I’m mixed raced and it’s obvious. The amount of racist pricks in Mackay is just like everywhere I’ve lived in Australia. I’m half white if that matters. Lived in this country since I was 4 years old and still cop discrimination and prejudice particularly from old white lady’s.

Not racist but religionist… faithist… somethingist. I’m not big on islamofascism either but I wouldn’t refuse service for it, I just won’t ever be a close friend. Why, you say? Grown up with a few in life here and there. One consistent feature is that homosexuality is an abomination and one of the Alabama Crimson Tide Trample LSU Tigers 2023 shirt in contrast I will get this guys even went so far as to say that if his son turned out to be gay he’d cut his head off. It’s fucked that you still see graffitied swastikas and pro white Aus stickers. Where are they all hiding? They all need a bit of fist-ical education. So done with them. Well I grew up with Herald Sun headlines and the like. The culture wars are still going, cost of living and other invisible pressures lead basic people, especially older ones to lean into the idea that it’s someone’s fault and bam, hate and prejudice. It doesn’t help that folks from other countries also harbour ignorant views. Worked with a Brazilian woman for a while and she was racist AF.
