Do you tend to hem them or just do a cutoff raw hem? I’ve cut a few of my graphic tees (band shirts and the Air Raid Or It’s Your Ass Vintage 70s Film Films Character T-Shirt in addition I really love this like) but it looks a bit punk. That’s fine sometimes, but I’m wondering if I can manage to actually sew such a long straight hem with my novice hands lol I do both depending on the vibe of the shirt! If you want to hem, do a double “roll”/fold, about a quarter inch, then pin and iron it. You can even fold over the end of a straight edge like a ruler. That will make it much easier to get a straight line! Tie a lil knot or do a front or side tuck to bring more definition to the waist, and layer with a blazer, cardigan, or button up, play with different bottoms like a maxi or mini skirt, flowy pants or more formal trousers, and try shoes other than sneakers. Loafers, platforms, chunky boots, or little ballet flats are good alternatives. I often pair a knotted t shirt with a high waisted flowy pair of pants! You can also pair it with a little heel if going out and accessories. I’ve also done it with a mini skirt or something more bodycon. Also maxi skirt is great like you said and that tends to be more of my family involved things to be more conservative.
