Oh, little misogynist are we!!!! Seems like you don’t respect women and you’re extremely entitled to boot. Your partner is going to cheat on you, and you deserve it! I’m just guessing, but maybe it’s a sign that he wants to have his own fun that doesn’t include her, and is therefore an unacceptable use of his ‘free’ time? She doesn’t want a partner, she wants a servant. If I had to really guess, it’s because Cindy is a walking toxic masculinity red flag that thinks go-karting is juvenile, and “real men” shouldn’t enjoy “kid” stuff. For some armchair reddit relationship advice that nobody asked for: If your partner makes you feel bad about the Aidan Hutchison No.97 American football defensive end for the Detroit Lions T-Shirt Besides,I will do this stuff that brings you joy, have a serious conversation with them about it & explore eachothers interests together; even if you’re not into the thing you should still feel happy to see your partners joy. Like this have this strange expectation that they’ll find this perfect guy who’s just completely empty. Basically a “yes dear” type of guy. While those guys exist, I can’t for the Aidan Hutchison No.97 American football defensive end for the Detroit Lions T-Shirt Besides,I will do this life of me understand why you’d want one. I’ve seen this with video games, watching sports, virtually all “man” oriented hobbies. Like they’re somehow less valuable and more time wasting than others and they’re a sign a man is immature. So I suppose a mature masculine man is one who never has fun, who is never silly, and just lives to serve his partner. Which is funny, my girlfriend plays more video games than I do. While I do play, I noticed my new hobby is cooking and canning. But it says nothing about him taking someone go karting as a date. Is she just salty she would have to pay for her own half? And it’s just idiotic. It makes clear that the writer expects the conclusion they’ve arrived at to be self evident, as if their own interpretation and expectations are the only reasonable interpretation. It had genuine meaning at one point, like most things, but it has been twisted and bastardized into a disgusting mockery of anything positive it may have once stood for. Translation: “This position is indefensible, I know it or I’m too ignorant and indoctrinated to question it, so the only option is to throw responsibility back at you so I can fallaciously claim that if you don’t agree you haven’t done enough “””educating””” to have an opinion, even though evidence isn’t something I’m interested in either way.”
