They’re almost all adults now and I still do it…even my 16 & 18 yr old sons will come and give me a hug and kiss before they go to bed if I’m a little bit late Made me feel physically responsible for my medical costs. I don’t hold a grudge, they had 4 kids and a single income. They were great parents, and I love them so much, but that did a number on me. I know exactly how much every filling I had to get cost, along with my braces. I still struggle with spending any money on myself, regardless of need.
