My baba was like this. She’d cook up an entire buffet just for me and wouldn’t let me leave til I ate 4 plates minimum. But, my Icelandic one was really concerned about my weight and would regularly say “maybe an orange only…” when I got up for seconds. I had the Adam Thielen American football wide receiver for the Carolina Panthers Poster T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this opposite reaction. Lived with my Grandma right after Highschool for a few years, definitely well fed and taught me a lot about cooking. Moved away and came to visit after about 5 years and her first words to me “John, you’ve gotten so fat” Luckily I lost the weight, got tired of family constantly telling me. I lost my last grandparent a couple years ago. Still hurts. But I was able to see her right before she passed. I like to think she was waiting for me. Same but my grandpa. He’s muscular as fuck at 79 as he constantly works in the farm. He was never taught about “Bulking”, he learnt by himself that he needs to eat alot of food to develop muscles.

My grandpa regularly ate 11 donuts or half a sheet cake for breakfast. He lived to a few months short of 90. Grandma was onto something… I just stared at this meme for a solid minute before I noticed that the Adam Thielen American football wide receiver for the Carolina Panthers Poster T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this grandma character depiction is just the Yes Chad but with a grey haired bun. When I was young, I had trouble gaining weight. I spent 1 week with grandma and I was up 5-7 pounds. She’d be pushing dessert on you after your first or second bite of dinner. We actually had this, but for our grandma. We would bring her food because she would forget to eat. Miss you, grandma. I grew up in a different country from the entirety of family save my parents and brother, so I didn’t have this kind of experience growing up. This past summer I went with my partner to visit his hispanic grandparents. He warned me that his grandmother would feed me no matter what, but it still made me laugh when she asked if I was hungry, and before I could answer she said, “I’ll make you something,” and just started cooking. It was so heartwarming. Whose grandma is this? Mine gave the whole family eating disorders by a saying stuff like “do you really think you need another helping?” or “I think you’ve had enough to eat.” My grandma (on my mom’s side) sucked. Remember this redditors. When granny says you are skinny, you are skinny. If granny offers you food, you never decline it. God help you if you encounter a Filipino Grandma… one tried to force me to eat like an hour after thanksgiving and wouldn’t take no for an answer. I nearly died of gluttony that day.
