Imagine you’re a teacher. The AS hits you somewhere in the body. You will eventually end up owning half a mil to the hospital The “good guy with a gun” theory falls apart when you realize these are suicides just as much as homicides. They know someone with a gun will stop them, they don’t care. So I’m packin a .380 pistol wearing a suit and the bad guy has a couple of assault rifles, bandolers full of hollow point .223 and a 9mm, body armor and a helmet. But the Republican senator said that there has never been a school shooting in a place where teachers are allowed to carry. So, it must be true ?. Yes but they’re teachers and not a swat team. How many times does this have to happen for America to understand this. It’s pretty basic. Gunfights are hard and require a lot training. There’s a reason soldiers and police train regularly and still screw it up. The idea that some random person is going to have the ability to react effectively is a delusion. It’s far more likely panic sets in. I’m just so sorry for Americans. The rest of your lives will be impacted by the frequency of mass killing. Your system is just so broken it’s like cancer.

WHAT THE FUCK!?!!!?!!I’m a retired military police officer and sometimes I feel like my kids live under more stress daily than I did in Afghanistan or anywhere else I was on the job. For those who didn’t read the article, the person who called 911 stated there are 1-2 members of staff who carry guns, but did not know who or if they were carrying at the time. Furthermore the article states it’s unclear whether that staff was working at the time of the shooting.
