We can get 5 people in India for what we pay you” (Yes, I was told this directly) Any company talking about themself as family is a bigger red flag as a blind date already having your named carved into their lower arm. They had me driving their trucks with no license and told me they had a special operating license. I was young and stupid and never questioned it, somehow I was lucky and nothing ever came of it. But they were putting me and others at a huge risk.

They’d base vacation on EVERYONE, so if a driver was on vacation a warehouse guy couldn’t. And there were a couple drivers with 30-40+ years with Pepsi, which if you know how their vacation accumulates. By that point those handful of guys have locked up all the vacation time for the entire branch. So you’d end up just using your days on the odd Friday here and there to try and get a long weekend. Never got any real rest.
