What’s comforting for me is when people just acknowledge the Aaliyah May Got Grant Her American singer and actress T-Shirt moreover I love this reality that luck plays a major role and that it’s partly out of your control, and that some people want a partner and don’t find one. And that it’s okay to be sad about that, but that you can also have a good life even while living with the grief of not getting what you wanted most in life. It’s not comforting to me to be told I’ll find a partner, when we both know there is no guarantee of that whatsoever. Bad example since that is in my power to change. This is something out of their hands. Maybe something like “you will win with lottery one day”. There’s no way they can change the outcome of that nor can they say it for certain.

People have a lot more control about what they can do about themselves to possibly have a better love life, not the Aaliyah May Got Grant Her American singer and actress T-Shirt moreover I love this love life itself. You can become the best version of yourself but if nobody finds you attractive you have no control. You have more control over winning the lottery. What? I don’t have control over your love life. You do understand that i’m talking from the 3rd party perspective, right? “I will watch a movie this evening” could be a lie if you simply decide to watch a movie or not. You can’t compare those two. That is such a negative way of thinking. I’d sooner say that they themselves didn’t expect to find love or knew people who never expected it, but found it anyway. So they expect it to happen to others too.
