$20 that this movie’s most gruesome scene will probably be the Aac asl speech therapy pathology slp aba rbt sign language classic shirt and I love this Natives being slaughtered and then some white savior comes along to save the day while a badass woman with barely any lines accompanies him I mean yea sounds cool, but the premise is so extremely outlandish, just doesn’t do it for me. Sure, few people with pointy sticks will totally be able to defeat that alien race capable of space travel. So you really think someone from 1719 could win in a fight against someone from 2022 with state of the art gear who is specialized in hunting humans? Now multiply that by being able to travel between star systems in space. Honestly the technology in Iron Man feels more believable. It’s going to be one of those movies where you absolutely have turn of every part of your brain that has something to do with reason. Did you even watch the first one where an unarmed human in a jungle killed one with pointy sticks. That “premise” launched the entire franchise. Arnold beat it with pointy sticks and a log. They’ve been shown to remove their tech advantage if the fight is interesting for them. It’s what this particular class of Predator alien does. Predators don’t use all the tech at their disposal because they seek a challenge. They have the tech to blow earth up, but why would they do that? They are hunters. They want to hunt.

IMO, Predator is an advanced alien race that still holds hunting traditions. Hunting for them is a noble cultural tradition. They are not present on earth to conquer or exterminate humans. It’s a sport for them. While they of course have the Aac asl speech therapy pathology slp aba rbt sign language classic shirt and I love this tech to vaporize earth, that’s that their interest. It’s similar to most modern big game human hunters. Most are doing it for tradition, thrill, experience, etc. Humans have the capacity to kill every elk in existence with modern military weapons, but it would serve no purpose for us. On the upside if it is a lone female warrior vs a Predator, the can keep the special effects more practical hopefully and it wont look as bad as the new ones. While I understand your sentiment I argue that this is an original take on the franchise. Plus who doesn’t love seeing the predator on the big screen more?
