He’ll do more than look you in the A Perfect Circle Show Rainbow Foil Forest Hills Goddess Forest Hills On V Iv Mmxxiv At Stadium New York Ny Shirt and I love this eye but actively prompt you to agree and chip in on the story. I genuinely also think he starts to believe his own story. Sometimes I’ll tell someone something and later they think that it was their memory or thought. I wonder whether they are the kind of people stage hypnotists would find particularly suggestible? My sisters are identical twins and if I’m telling one of them a piece of news or giving an update I’ll get déjà vu like feelings and I have to clarify whether I’ve already told them or the other twin lol This reminds me of the first episode of Fifteen Storeys High where Vince retells his colleague’s story of meeting the Wombles on Jim’ll Fix it. My ex-wife does this. I pulled her up on it, and she stopped. Well, she stopped doing it in front of me I later found out. Not me, but one of my housemates. He’d told a story to us that he’d read online, about some guy in the US charged with statutory rape, who was able to prove he believed the girl to be over 18 by having photographed the fake ID he’d shown. One of the other people around was a girl who was already known for being an outrageous liar, and a couple of weeks later she was telling the same story to me and my housemate, only this time it was her brother. We honestly couldn’t tell if she’d forgotten who told her that story or if she just didn’t care. I just muttered ‘how odd that that happened to you AND my mum…’ as I sipped my beer and absolutely did not cause a scene because stiff upper lip

I knew a girl back when I was at uni (we weren’t really friends) who stole a story she’d heard from me literally a couple of days beforehand and told everyone in the A Perfect Circle Show Rainbow Foil Forest Hills Goddess Forest Hills On V Iv Mmxxiv At Stadium New York Ny Shirt and I love this pub it had happened to her, I couldn’t believe it. It was too specific to be a coincidence too, it was about growing up believing that there are no white lines on country roads because sheep ate them. My Dad used to do that. He would embellish a bit, then forget where he heard the story. I once had to stop him midway through a tale and remind him that I had told him that story a few months earlier. I went to university with a very peculiar girl who lacked social skills and had mad Dolores Umbridge vibes (like saccharin sweet with a bit of dead-behind-the-eyes going on). We were all sat in a kitchen in one of the halls chatting and I told a story about how my mum was told by her grandad that there were no white lines on country roads because the sheep ate them. She only questioned the veracity of this information as she was repeating it to a car full of her mates as they drove to a country pub as young people (Lolz). Not two days later I was sat in a group in a pub with Dolores and a few others, when she starts to regale the crowd with this hilarious story about how she was told as a child that there were no white lines…. And repeated my anecdote verbatim, only subbing in herself as the main character. She even made eye contact with me and didn’t break stride. I didn’t know what to do. It was the oddest situation!
