Same. I wonder if I will look back at this moment and view it as one of the A man cannot survive on beer alone also needs snowboarding shirt Furthermore, I will do this best things to happen to my mental health. Same with sync. End of the month, I’m gone. Shame, but I quit twitter when the Elon bullshit started, I can quit reddit too. Pretty close. A lot of mod tools are run through 3rd party apps, which Reddit is going to shut down. That’s partially the reason for the blackout next week I modded in a huge default sub for a while because I wanted to see what it was like. The tech stack was impressive. When these third party tools die, the front page of Reddit dies. It will become nothing but the porn you don’t want to see and bots posting ads. I’ve modded a small sub without all the tools and even for small subs with just a couple thousand users that barely gets any traffic it can get messy. The worst of the worst really comes out on the internet. Never thought I’d be reporting an actual pedophile to the admins for making extremely sexual comments about an 8 year old. Wtf. Also saw a lot of other kinds of horrible, horrible people who said some of the most vile things I’ve ever heard. Some people need to be in a mental institution or prison. Yeah. So all of the NSFW subs (porn and non-porn alike) will get the banhammer, then Reddit will spiral down to the same grave as Tumblr, Digg, etc.

Man, the A man cannot survive on beer alone also needs snowboarding shirt Furthermore, I will do this OF creators are going to be pressed for advertising space. They used to use Twitter, but Twitter went to shit, and Reddit is likely going to severely curtail NSFW content. That leaves Instagram and TT, both of which are supersaturated and are difficult to ride the algorithm to get visibility. The API changes will make moderation more difficult by getting rid of a lot of third party tools. At least that’s my understanding. Nope, but they pissing away a good chunk of mobile users and their CEO seems to have falsely claimed an app developer blackmailed them. Christian Selig, of Apollo. He has a good head on his shoulders though, so he recorded (and subsequently released the audio/transcripts of) the calls he had with Reddit admin, which proved that they were lying about what he said.
