Remember the 7Th Annual Lone Star Zine Fest Shirt What’s more,I will buy this Boomers (not all but most) that could sustain a family of 3-5 and buy a house and two cars with just one income? Well there is another aspect where they had it much better: The workload at their job. The work load in the 60s or 70s or any time before the PC era was a fraction of what it is now. Nowadays you get a call or email or message and are expected to compile a list within minutes. Back then this took time and effort. In the office people nowadays probably do 10x the work people did 40 years ago. Same goes for most other professions. Machines have made everything faster – so much more is expected today than 40 years ago. Jobs were slow. Now they are fast. Thats why everyone is so stressed. Because we work to exhaustion at our jobs – 5 to 10x than Boomers did and then we earn a fraction of their income.I’m from a traditional Latino family. My mom used to harass me about getting married and having children… Until I snapped at her and asked if she was paying for the house I couldn’t afford and raising my children, because unlike her (20h weeks) I work 50/60hw)

The boomers won’t know the 7Th Annual Lone Star Zine Fest Shirt What’s more,I will buy this glory of doing 3 workers worth of labor in one position while getting paid the same wages from 30 years ago. Don’t tell the boomers it’s going to be painful for them in their twilight years where they can’t afford shit for the lifestyle they had. I encountered this last week and it was really sad. Older couple at the hotel breakfast were talking about how they were eating there and would only get coffee at breakfast with their family since their trip had been much more expensive than they had expected. I think it’s finally hitting the boomers that things need to change. Yep. My white aunt now thinks “they’re being discriminated against” because surprise surprise the economic reganomic policies they supported are shit but it’s never that.
