Following Barrett’s departure in 1968, Roger Waters became the band’s creative visionary. Albums like “The Dark Side of the Moon” (1973), “Wish You Were Here” (1975), and “The Wall” (1979) showcased Waters’ masterful songwriting and concept album format. These groundbreaking works explored themes of alienation, war, and the human condition, resonating with audiences worldwide.

In 1985, after Waters’ departure, Pink Floyd continued as a trio with Wright, Gilmour, and Mason. They released several more acclaimed albums, including “A Momentary Lapse of Reason” (1987) and “The Division Bell” (1994). These albums demonstrated Pink Floyd’s ability to adapt and innovate, while maintaining their signature sound.
