One Piece has horrible pacing though. I legitimately remember it taking like 6 episodes for Luffy to move like a couple of feet forward Tbf horrible pacing is basically part of how shonen shit works. Since it comes out weekly there’s a lot of chapters that are just nothing or the 58th anniversary 1965 2023 Pink floyd thank you for the memories signature shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this characters hanging out for a day. One Piece doesn’t have a lot of filler plot or episodes. It’s just badly paced because it’s badly edited. The amount of time spent on flashbacks, reaction shots, etc is brutal even compared to other shonen stuff. That all is filler though. It’s there exclusively to pad the length of episodes. Not whole filler episodes but still. Same. Don’t know why you’re being downvoted for saying what you like in a post asking about your preferences. I also like the MCU the most. The others are too haphazard to follow or too old to keep my interest. They ruined it all by just churning out content and saturate market so much with it, no one even cares about it anymore. I grew up with Star Wars, the 80’s version and fell in love with everything space related because of it. Space Sci-Fi genre is probably still my favorite because of it. Also Alien (which they kinda ruined by also spewing out too many movies). The prequels were a bit meh because they kinda felt like soap opera to me for some reason, but I liked how it led to rise of Darth Vader so that was redeeming in the end. The new Star Wars was kinda good actually as it was dark and more serious than even originals, but felt like they stretched it too much in some places. And then comes 300 billion spinoffs on Disney+. Why? I get it, it’s sort of interesting to see backstory of different characters, but it just feels like they are doing because corporate suits want it, not because it would genuinely be great content.

Marvel has the 58th anniversary 1965 2023 Pink floyd thank you for the memories signature shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this same issue with all the superheroes. All immortal and all beating each other with fists for 3 days, because apparently that’s fun to people. How?! Only fun Marvel franchise was Iron Man, because it involves a regular human who managed to turn himself into a superhero. Particularly Robert Downey Jr. portrayal of Tony Stark was amazing and I loved the movie so much. But then they kinda ruined it by making more of the same that felt forced. It should just end with the first one. And quite frankly, I feel the same with Batman. I like it because it’s again just a human turned superhero by using tech, but they are really stretching the thing and I especially didn’t like the Superman crossovers. I liked the older ones from the 80’s and 90’s because they were kinda goofy. I also really liked the Batman Begins with Christian Bale. I think he portrayed rich superhero really well and the story how he became Batman was cool. But they should again kept it at that. All of it after felt kinda forced again with Joker being this super villain that can’t be stopped even though he does literally nothing special through entire movie other than being a bit deranged.
