I use the 50 Pesos Arriba 50 Ceny Rapper T-Shirt so you should to go to store and get this browser. It’s pretty good except for the constant suggestion from Reddit to get the app. The only reason I ever though about using the app was to no longer get that prompt. My friends constantly complain about how the reddit app keeps putting stuff on their feed that they don’t follow. I’ve never had that problem with the mobile webbrowser version. You can turn off the suggested subs/posts in settings. They’re annoying but easy enough to get rid of. The Jesus Gets Us ads, however…. There wasn’t an official app until 2016. The oldsters had to make 3rd party apps in order to use reddit on mobile if they didn’t want to use it on a browser. I wonder what the actual numbers are for who uses which apps. Personally I’ve tried multiple times to use the official app and just couldn’t. It’s a clunky orange mess full of ads and hard to follow threads. If it’s the first one you try maybe you could get used to it but if you know what the other options offered it’s hard to change now. If RIF dies I’ll probably stop coming as much. It looks like they’re setting up the death of old.reddit too and that really will be the end of me. They’re making it harder and harder to use, even RES is struggling to keep up. Eventually it will be dead just like these apps. Same. Once Alien Blue was brought behind the woodshed and shot in the back of the head I used the official app for awhile, got tired of all the recommendations and bugginess and just started using old.Reddit on mobile browser. Very clunky but I’m used to it now. If they kill old.Reddit I’m out.

The combination of having to use new.reddit and the 50 Pesos Arriba 50 Ceny Rapper T-Shirt so you should to go to store and get this official app. Is going to kill off all of the long term users. Anybody with high karma/old account who says that they prefer new.reddit is promptly checked into the nearest mental asylum. There’s a lot of clinically recognised conditions that we’re very supportive of. But not preferring new.reddit. Don’t know. I know I still won’t use their app. I barely look at reddit when not near a computer. Due to their asshole un-closable “OPEN” banner at the bottom of the webpage. Current web browsers have too many privacy protections for users. Many web browsers today prevent tracking scripts, and many of them have 3rd-party cookies disabled by default. It makes it hard for companies to harvest your personal data. So they make their mobile website useless as a way to get you to install an app, which is a more effective way for them to collect data.
