This franchise was not designed to be a long-lasting franchise. There’s a reason why Cameron never came back or cared about the Terminator rights for decades, because 35 Years Of Terminator 1984 2019 Signature Thank You For The Memories shirt difficult to come up with a fresh premise that works in the frame of time travel set in place, where we already saw the past win against Skynet twice while it’s heavily implied the future resistance defeats Skynet. Unless you take a leap of faith and go past Skynet’s defeat or fight a new villain altogether, I just don’t see how a new terminator movie would work that feels fresh and innovative.
