Reddit has been sending messages to some people that upvote posts that break the 30 years 1993-2023 Tombstone thank you for the memories signatures shirt and I will buy this rules. It basically says “you upvoted a post that breaks our rules. Please familiarize yourself with the rules again and stop doing this or risk a ban. On things like that, maybe you can explain why political idiologies influence how you enforce the rules? The rules seem to be very bendable for some subs, but others seem to have a one or two strikes and you’re out policy When is reddit going to drop the horrid “new version”? In some gaming subs, use r/gtaonline as an example, you can frequently find posts from angry gamers sharing images of people’s gamertags and screennames from different gaming platforms. Wouldn’t that violate reddit’s policy about witch-hunting? I see content like that in gaming subs quite often, I report it, and nothing ever happens to that content. Then you have subs like r/waterniggas which is quarantined, even though there isn’t even any policy-breaking content in the 30 years 1993-2023 Tombstone thank you for the memories signatures shirt and I will buy this sub. This “enforcement” is inconsistent. Not to mention how dystopian-sounding the whole “forcing people to think better” thing is. Let’s give it up for punishing wrong think! Whoop whoop! I think Aaron Swartz would have been proud of this moment.
