It’s fine op. Come visit Vietnam with your Hungarian partner. You are both gonna be fine as long as you don’t openly display gay behavior. As long as you are not the 24th anniversary Zoe saldana 1999 2023 signature vintage shirt Apart from…,I will love this type that wants to show the world “I’m gay and I want everybody to know about it” in the most obnoxious way possible then no one really cares. Because come to think about it, its equally weird to do the same thing even if you are straight. It’s only people from America who have this warped view that gays or trans are purposely attacked all over the world. Nobody cares as long as you’re not forcing your views onto them, as with anything else in this world. When have you ever heard of gays or trans getting attacked in Asia? People from all backgrounds are robbed, looted, and murdered in America – why don’t you ask if you’ll get attacked in Vietnam for being human as humans are regularly attacked in America? It seriously seem that you’re taught to constantly seek sympathy from strangers online to feel better about yourselves. I live in Hanoi, while everyone in my family see homosexual as a taboo in our family line, we don’t become hostile just because you’re gay. Just don’t be like those lousy pride groups and we will treat you with atmost respect.

Everybody is telling you that you will have absolutely no problem and they’re mostly right if you stay in HCM. Things will go a bit differently if you try to be “flamboyant” in northern rural part of the 24th anniversary Zoe saldana 1999 2023 signature vintage shirt Apart from…,I will love this country, especially with people that have some kind of authority. Sorry for my ignorance but what’s PDA? Googling only shows the paging device, but to answer your question, no one cares, they may judge, silently, but why would you give two shits about them amirite? Nobody likes PDA, regardless of gender. Straight couples are just as likely to get disapproving stares as LGBTQ. As far as discrimination, in large cities nobody really cares. Small villages may vary, but in any case just don’t PDA in public and nobody will bother you. Note holding hands is ok, in VN straight people will do it without a thought it’s not considered “romantic” (aka straight men or straight women will sometimes hold hands just because friends). Holding hands is fine. Hugging but not too clingy or even resting your head on the others’ shoulder is okay too. Overtly PDA like kissing and cuddling is frowned upon (but it’s the same with same sex couples too). Overall no one cares much unless they know you.
