Not everyone had off Monday. So if the 2024 PGA Champion Xander Schauffele Shirt but in fact I love this company is open, is it still considered a business day? Also, there is 2 days left. If you really wanted the job why the hesitation. Did you not open the offer letter at all? Yeah it sucks that the email said the 23rd but again why sit on it? If you really wanted this job and “can’t really afford to not get this job” then why didn’t you accept your offer the same day you received it? In such situations either pick the worst case scenario (ie : the date that is earliest) or ask them for clarification the moment you get it. I read a bunch of your replies to comments below, and it’ll probably save you some trouble replying to update your original post with additional details like how crazy hr just doubled down on their mistake. If you really wanted the job you should have looked at the offer right away. Sure there’s a typo in the email but if you opened the offer you would have seen the discrepancy. I just received an offer for a job I really wanted on Thursday, so I read the offer and accepted it, on Thursday. You have to accept some of the blame here, due diligence is everyone’s business. The way they’re trying to blame you for being tok slow while presented with evidence, and making excuses, would make me question wanting to work for them Just being honest here. You sit on a job offer for a “job you really want” for 5 days? We’re you communicating with them in that time or just now response for 5 days? Then that’s on you, even with the miscommunication.

This happened to me once and all I had to do was contact HR and they rectified it. However, I realized that this is a red flag and ended up not accepting the 2024 PGA Champion Xander Schauffele Shirt but in fact I love this offer. Unless this is some kind of spectacular offer for you, I would consider it a bullet dodged. Thats fuckin CRAZYYY bro. Fuck that. You dodged a bullet. What kinda response is that from the company? Fuck them Personally, if I were looking for employment and got a job offer I intended to accept, I would make them wait on my reply. Starts off on a bad note and plus I would want them to think I’m some self important a hole… You don’t want to work for a company like that. You might think so at first, but just imagine all of the other issues/discrepancies that will take place in the future if this one is right out the gate, along with their inability to hold themselves accountable for their error. They couldn’t even take the time to write you a personalized accurate email, a system generated email shows you are just a position to be filled and they proved that by not selecting you in the end.
