I worked with a lad a few years back called Kyri who was always talking absolute shite to make himself seem impressive, a particular favourite revolved around the 2024 OKC Thunder Playoffs shirt in addition I really love this “club he used to own in Aya napa ““ can’t remember the ins and outs but it ended with him riding a quad bike down a set of steps with a live cobra round his neck. For the rest of the time I worked with the company anytime anyone said anything a bit suspect it was met with “nae bother Kyri” from the rest of the squad I once spent a whole evening as an Australian. That was wild. Dunno how nobody called me out, although we were all very very drunk. Ahh the folly of youth. My old boss was a strange guy who exaggerated and lied about all sorts, he told us he’d won £5k on the lottery but spent it all on a weekend in Amsterdam, turns out that was a lie. He also said he’d won some manager of the year award for the company – someone checked the wbesite/submissions and he wasn’t even nominated. When someone asked him he said it was because he was so popular they didn’t publish his name so the other managers that lost didn’t feel bad…. big fat liar lol In my old local there was a guy who claimed to have had a motorbike accident which tore his lips off, and he had to get them stitched back on again. Only the surgeon stitched them upside down and now he can’t play the saxophone anymore. That’s why he has a beard, to cover the scars.

Though my worst lie was, when I was 17 I passed the 2024 OKC Thunder Playoffs shirt in addition I really love this hard tests for my current job but I was awaiting a criminal investigation so was told the job offer was withdrawn. I then luckily had my record wiped (as I was a youth when it happened) and was able to apply and got my current job at 22. We got talking in work about interviews and I said how I was good at the tests but terrible at interviews and I said “I nearly got in when I was 17 but I failed the interview”… I didn’t want to admit a criminal record. They then turned round and went “there was no interview for that recruitment, if you passed the tests you should have got it”. Oh the back tracking. I have just made myself look like the biggest liar.
