Can I please get some context on this gif because I am dying!!!! I know it’s modern family but what exactly is happening here? Phil was supposed to fix the 2024 Cruise Trip making memories one cruise at a time T-Shirt Apart from…,I will love this broken step, but it never got fixed. So Claire fell thru it and got stuck cause Phil is a doofus Dunphy. Hahaha ok I’m just like huh she just started sinking into the stairs. My favorite joke from that show is the push it real hard joke with the gay couple that shit was hilarious. Also the baby cheeses/ baby Jesus joke. Phil was growing shrooms under the stairs and he used a humidifier to get better shrooms but the humidifier rotted the stairs Actually I go to a school with stairs in the way you suggested. It’s separated in the middle by a platform but as you go up the stairs, that platform covers the bottom words and you end up reading it top to bottom. I climb stairs in the metro daily that have a message about stairs being healthy and they’re bottom to top, as they should be. You don’t see more than 3 steps ahead when it’s crowded. Now granted a school won’t be as crowded as a metro station but still it could very easily be problematic. Yeah this kind of stuff is so annoying. I parked at a teacher parking spot on my campus the other day because the disabled spots were taken and disabled students are allowed to take any spot they need, even metered spots, when that’s the case. A teacher knocked on my window and was like hey this is a reserved spot and they’ll tow your car if you don’t move so can you move? I apologized for the inconvenience and clarified I could park there since I had a disability pass on my car. And she said no, that’s not the case and she pays a lot of money for the parking spot. Since a disabled spot was now open I agreed to move, but I kind of wanted to tell her I paid a lot for the recent heart surgery and multiple Sclerosis diagnosis that landed me in a disabled parking spot in the first place, but I just kept my mouth shut. I need that spot because the only way to get to the building otherwise is a massive staircase on a hill! And I mean like, 50+ steep stairs. Not fun for me right now.

Not only disabled people. Imagine you have a little child in a stroller, have a lot of stuff, you broke your leg, you’re 8 months pregnant… For those people an elevator would probably be nice too. Maybe some of that stuff won’t happen at a school, but I saw stuff like this in other places too. Accessibility helps 3 classes of people: (A) people with permanent disabilities, (B) people with temporary conditions, injuries, or impairments, and (C) people in contingent situations or outside the 2024 Cruise Trip making memories one cruise at a time T-Shirt Apart from…,I will love this norm (e.g. someone with a heavy accent). I’m curious whether there really isn’t an elevator, or if there is and it’s just closed to most students. If it was built in the last 40+ years, it’s probably gonna have an elevator. When I was in high school, there was an elevator but only the teachers and disabled students had a key to it. I took it to be the latter. Seeing the picture, I read it in reverse initially, and if there were people on the stairs, you’d be forced to read it that way.
