Even assuming a single high can feed 50 people they will go the way of the buffalo in a few years of real hunting… How many cows do you think we eat? Because they hunt you back, genuinely. I’d be out in the woods as a kid and specifically look for their tracks or scat to avoid their territory……

The meat isn’t great, they’re riddled with parasites due to them being omnivores and scavengers.
