I’ve had this happen to me. We went to drop a few things off at storage right before closing. Didn’t imagine we wouldn’t be able to get out! Thankfully my dad parked outside the 20 Years 2001 2021 Of The Shinedown Band Signatures Thank You For The Memories Shirt it is in the first place but gate before it closed. My friend and I got to climb a very tall iron fence. 0/10 do not reccomend. Soooooo it didn’t occur to this person to call the police? The storage company definitely wouldn’t want anyone stuck inside the property all night. Why no 911? 911 dispatcher here…I have actually taken several calls about people getting stuck at storage facilities after hours. It’s a more common problem than one would think. We usually end up sending out the fire department to see if they can gain access with a Knox Box. If that fails we try to find a key holder number either from previous alarm company calls or in house history. We’ve had a couple cases were neither of those options worked and the FD ended up using ladders. Pretty sure our fire marshal gave those businesses a big chewing out afterwards for violating the fire code. I wouldn’t call the police but the fire department. They have ladders & could help him out OR contact non-emergency dispatch to contact the storage manager.

As to why he was there so late…. I’ve had to go to our storage unit late at night because we were moving. We finished at 9:50, 10 minutes before the 20 Years 2001 2021 Of The Shinedown Band Signatures Thank You For The Memories Shirt it is in the first place but gates locked down until 6 am. Yes, the codes deactivate at 10. No idea, around 1:15ish he said the adrenaline from the whole situation was wearing off and he was crashing pretty hard so he was going to nap in his car until either help arrived or the gate code worked again at 5:00 a.m. I asked him if he could let me know when he got out, but I never heard back For everybody asking “why not just call the police?” yall notice how alot of times they just don’t show up these days? probably would have been waiting for nothing XD Surprised by the number of people on this thread who are shocked someone wouldn’t want to call the police. I will go sooo far out of my way to not speak to police, even if its incredibly inconvenient for me. And I’m not even a criminal, plus I’m white. Police just have a way of creating problems where there weren’t any before. When I’m in a jam, my first thought is not to get a local gang involved…
