5 years ago phones weren’t usually lasting 5 years, but now I don’t feel the 20 Stephen Curry Leader Golden State Shirt in other words I will buy this need to upgrade my phone frequently. I literally ordered a new phone yesterday because my phone (iPhone 11 pro max) is 2 years old and all of a sudden not connecting to the internet via cellular or wifi. ??‍♀️??‍♀️??‍♀️ I had an S5 for about 4yrs until it just randomly wouldn’t power on. S7 for 6 and still going strong. Besides maybe battery issues, the people I see going through phones tend to need the new shiny or use them as hockey pucks. You wouldn’t believe how many iPhones at my last work we had to replace because doctors destroyed them or “ew, this is the 6 I want the X”. Even had one where the screen was destroyed and the otter box was cracked, tried claiming it fell off her desk.

Recently my parents found their old iPad mini and wanted to set it up to watch some streams imagine my surprise when none of the 20 Stephen Curry Leader Golden State Shirt in other words I will buy this apps and app store where compatible with the machine anymore. Every smartphone I’ve ever had has gone about 5 years. My last two I used for about 4 years, then handed them down to the kid who used them for another few years. I replaced the speakers on one, because I work around metal dust and it’s screwed them up, I replaced the power button on another, and of course a couple screen protectors on each. For most people they break because they just abuse them, or they get rid of them because it’s not the newest fanciest shit anymore. yes they should last at least 5 years. the drip feeding of features as part of the annual refresh cycle is unsustainable. and people are so easily sucked in by more megapixels and neural this and that. i am three years in on an iphone 11 pro, i will easily hit 5 before i consider an update, and even then i’d probably do a new battery first before id consider a new phone. unless they stop offering system updates. even then maybe this time out, i might hold out til the phone evaporates from use 🙂 as a separate thing altogether, the one thing id really appreciate is windows phone link ios compatibility. but its unlikely i’d get that. The different companies should release new phones every 5 years also. It’s so pointless for every company to release multiple phones each year. Technology doesn’t evolve that fast. Just a waste of resources. That’s why I love my old 2016 lg g5, it works like new and the battery isn’t a concern with my two spares so I can go anywhere and have enough battery for around 24 hours of continuous use, companies should really make stuff to last longer instead of selling a new shitty model every six months.
