Right? Sneaking out wasn’t even a thing because by the 1996 tears for fears pop rock band saturnine martial and lunatic trending shirt and by the same token and time I was like 11 I just did whatever I wanted and no one stopped me. Happy Mother’s Day to the woman who sent my package of Legend of Zelda Korok stickers to the police department because she thought they were drug stickers from the 80s because they “looked creepy” You’d think “maybe I should look in the other rooms of the house” would be the logical first step, but I don’t think we’re dealing with a logical person here. Happy mother’s day to the woman who was upset we don’t talk enough so she went through all of my things and berated me for whatever she found, resulting in trauma, suicidal thoughts and long lasting issues with her. My mom called my boyfriend’s mom because she found a key with an old motel key chain and how she didn’t want me to be sexually active. It was their storage key. I was 21. Happy Mother’s Day to the woman who showed up at my (20yo) work an hour after I didn’t answer the phone because I was wearing an unflattering shirt in a picture someone posted and she panicked and had to make sure I wasn’t pregnant. I got rid of the shirt. happy Mother’s Day to the woman who started my 30s off with an ongoing tradition of texting me she will call the cops if I don’t respond to her birthday calls. Bonus points to her sister threatening to track me down via contacts in the city I live in (who would have zero idea who I am) one year, and then blaming me for causing drama another.

Happy mother’s day to the 1996 tears for fears pop rock band saturnine martial and lunatic trending shirt and by the same token and mom that lost it because she texted me in the spring and asked what I was doing, I was skateboarding, she said there was no ice so I must be lying. Whenever I go home to visit my parents we sit in the living room together for 99% of the time. The other 1%? I’m in the bathroom. Every single time my mother screams my name like she thinks I’ve been abducted. Also, I’m in my 30s and it’s been this way since I moved away for college at 18. Lol once I was at a friend’s house and somehow there was a misunderstanding and I thought my parents gave me permission to sleep over, so an hour into a movie and past curfew I missed a dozen calls, get screamed at, and demanded to check if I was on drugs. I was watching a PG-13 movie with my church friends lol Wait… can people literally just ‘call the police’ on anyone like that without pissing the cops off and possibly even getting in trouble?
