“Even though I believe it is highly unlikely that these proceedings will have a substantial effect on The Walt Disney Company, I choose to err on the 11 years 2010 2021 The Walking Dead thank you for the memories shirt in addition I really love this side of caution — which, here, is also the side of judicial integrity — and disqualify myself,” Walker wrote in a 14-page order. “Maintaining public trust in the judiciary is paramount, perhaps now more than ever in the history of our Republic.” Not his wife but a third degree relative? 30 shares? How did he even know unless he called them all up searching for an escape? My relatives don’t know my portfolio. Eh, he’s recusing himself and knows full well that the next judge is likely to be Republican and will have no iota or morals. So his “doing in the name of integrity of the courts” stuff is a load of bullshit. That just sounds like he wanted off the case to duck political backlash … I thought that one of the core morals of being a judge was both being committed to ensuring justice and confronting conflict, instead of cowering from it.

Imagine you have an uncle that is a judge, and they are trying a case involving IDK, Target(worth more per share currently). I’m imagining his nephew being a wsb sort of guy who constantly talking about owning Disney shares and saying, “Dont f–k with the 11 years 2010 2021 The Walking Dead thank you for the memories shirt in addition I really love this mouse” at family functions. Dodging a big ol political bullet. Seems pretty cut and dry to me, id wanna be so far from the desantis dumpster fire id be making shit up. Yep. The judge knows it’s going to be a lightning rod case with piles of bullshit from every direction, and he wants no part of it. I’m surprised he didn’t just buy some shares so he could recuse himself. Getting your reputation and career dragged through the mud by daily wire and the twitterverse because your third degree relative owns stock is worse. We’ve seen them attack judges who don’t rule their way before- and if the guy you rule against is retaliating against slights AND possibly going to be president? Yikes. Probably just doesn’t want to have his family deal with right wing terrorists threatening them for thirty years if he rules against Florida Hitler. Recusing yourself with what looks like a valid excuse on paper because you do not want the inevitable shit show in your court room is genius though. That and hw won’t have to worry about his relatives getting daily death threats from the GOP cult.
